Congratulations, Miriam, on winning our Culture of CARE Excellence Award! You’re a shining example of the values we stand for.

Miriam Padilla is a Lab Assistant Sr. at our San Leandro Care Center. Miriam is being recognized for her outstanding performance! Miriam has worn many hats in her time here at Epic Care and excelled in all of them. Miriam serves as one of our Culture of Care Ambassadors and helps plan activities to maintain staff morale. Miriam leads by example and coaches others to do their best and fully support our patients and physicians. We’re thankful to have Miriam on our team!

Q: How long have you been with Epic Care?

A:Eight years!

Q: In your own words, what does our Culture of CARE mean to you?

A: Our Culture of Care means supporting and motivating one another, having compassion for others, and inclusivity, which helps to maintain a positive work environment and a positive experience for patients when they visit our clinic.

Q: What do you like most about the work we do at Epic Care?

A: What I like most about the work we do at Epic Care is how we strive to provide patients with the best possible care and education so that they have a sense of comfort and guidance in whatever medical situation they are in.

Q: What is your favorite time of the day and why?

A: My favorite time of day is the end of my shift because it’s when I feel the most accomplished and ready for a new day.

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?

A: If I could live anywhere in the world for a year, it would be Italy. I would love to learn the language, experience the culture, and sightsee.
